i bet if someone'd give me a story i couldn't illustrate it to save my life. but i guess random illustrating isn't that difficult ^^

Yes. Your picture has some conceptual depth, though. It looks like something is going on, and the background cannot be "real", so maybe it represents some concept . . . to my mind it might be a clue or magic formula the girl is seeking, or transporting perhaps?

You're welcome. And if I had to describe the feel, I would probably try to describe it as modern/antique/fairytale. It's an interesting blend that seems to work here. :)
